The Special Education - Learning and Behavior Online Sequence, mainly known as is designed for special education paraprofessionals with at least 2 years of classroom experience seeking to earn their Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Special Education and their Professional Educator鈥檚 License (PEL) with a Learning Behavioral Specialist I (LBS I) endorsement.

PULSE currently has candidates working as a paraprofessionals in over 100 different school districts and special education cooperatives across the state of Illinois.

Why study Special Education - Specialist in Learning and Behavior Online Sequence?

This program is fully online with coursework completed both synchronously and asynchronously. PULSE is streamlined from our traditional learning and behavior program and is designed to specifically meet the educational needs of adult learners and capitalize on your experiences as working paraprofessionals. Participants are able to continue working as a paraprofessional throughout the program, including during clinicals and student teaching.
